Hi there and welcome to Read Eat Create!  I’m so glad you’re here to visit!  I’m Erin, the girl behind the blog.

I started this blog as a creative outlet back in October 2011 for my love of interior design.  After about a year of doing this, it slowly evolved to veer more towards, the cooking, reading and creating aspect of things.  I loved my original website (PeaceLoveDecor) but I was constantly feeling defeated in the blog world with all the beautiful interior designers out there and I wanted to find my own niche.  Thus, Read Eat Create was born!

You can find me in a little city right outside of Milwaukee usually on a fluffy couch with my pup and husband (he goes by Mr. C. around these parts of town).  I’ve lived here my entire life and I love it.  The little shops that can be found and the inspiration that’s around every corner; it fills me with anticipation all the time!

I’m a lover of good food (particularly appetizers), shoes, books, pups, autumn, bicycle riding, White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks, and farmers markets on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons.

On this website, you will find book reviews and tidbits from my book club, lots of recipes, creative desires and disasters as I dip into the DIY world, and a little bit of my everyday life.
